Kapistoni wines are natural and made with the best grapes from the harvest. We source our grapes exclusively from ecologically cultivated vineyards in the region of Kartli, where ancient, indigenous grape varietals thrive.
Kapistoni Goruli Mtsvane
Variety: 100 % Goruli Mtsvane
Light amber color.
Primary aromas of yellow apples, yellow-fleshed apricot, and orange zest. Fresh walnuts, almonds, chestnut honey and spring flowers offer secondary aromas that linger in the nose.
In the palate, the tannin structure is dry and nutty, with hints of dry apricot, green apples and plums. It offers a characteristic, long-lasting natural wine feel in the palate.
Kapistoni Chinebuli
Variety: 100 % Chinebuli
Medium dark amber color.
The nose presents exquisite, multi-faceted and multi-layered primary aromas of green apples, yellow-fleshed apricots and grated citrus peels. Also present are secondary aromas of fresh almonds, melted acacia honey and floral nuances of delicate cherry blossoms.
The tannin structure is medium dry and nutty, with hints of dry apricot, green apples and plums. Pickled walnuts and toasted almonds are present on the palate, contributing to its dry, nutty character. A long-lasting delicate finish of grated peels of green lemons lingers in the palate.
Kapistoni Mukhamtsvane
Variety: 100 % Mukhamtsvane
Medium dark amber color.
Mukhamtsvane has multi layered aromas of ripe apple, ripe pear, white and yellow plum, grated orange peels. Secondary layers of fresh walnuts, vanilla oak and honey are accompanied by fruity and floral aromas.
Present in the palate are notes of walnuts, vanilla oak and summer fruit which combine to produce an exquisite fruity and floral dry tannin structure with long-lasting finish.
Kapistoni Rkatsiteli
Variety: 100 % Rkatsiteli
Light amber color.
Primary aromas of yellow-fleshed peach, velvety apricot and grated kumquat peels. Subsequent aromas of melted forest honey and fresh walnuts pour out of the glass in changing facets.
In the palate, it offers hints of pepper, herb-sweet quinces and grated orange peels in a long-lasting finish.
Kapistoni Kundza
Variety: 100 % Kundza
Light spicy nose with hints of lemongrass, honeysuckle, pears, melons and a hint of eucalyptus.
Dry and balanced tannin structure offers mineral undertones and a spicy and subtle long finish
Kapistoni Danakharuli
Variety: 100 % Danakharuli
Bright purple, light violet rim.
Fresh and multi-layered aromas of blackberries, longan berries, mulberries, cherries and strawberries.
Fruity and dry with medium tannin structure. Medium finish. Intense and balanced longan berries and strawberries at first impression. Secondary notes of cherries and mulberries.
Medium acidity and medium body combine for a wonderful, fresh mouth feel.
Kapistoni Shavkapito
Variety: 100 % Shavkapito
Red dry wine with medium opacity and raspberry colored rim.
Shavkapito has primary aromas of wild cherries and ripe wild strawberries combined with spicy notes of crushed red peppercorns. Secondary aromas provide noticeable multi-layered nuances of blooming violets, herb-sweet quinces and wild rose petals.
Powerful and energetic, with a distinctive tannin structure and subtle fruit acidity, Kapistoni Shavkapito reveals notes of red currants, juicy blueberries and pink pepper berries in a very balanced way that reverberates in a long-lasting and energetic finish.
Kapistoni Tavkveri
Variety: 100 % Tavkveri
Medium dark purple, medium opacity.
Aromas of wild blackberries, wild blueberries and wild cherries. Subtle aromas of black pepper are also present.
The well-balanced interplay between the wild blackberries and wild cherries is immediately noticeable, followed by mellow wild blueberry notes. Floral and fruit forward with a powerful and elegant tannin structure in a long-lasting finish.
Kapistoni Asuretuli Shavi
Variety: 100 % Asuretuli Shavi
Bright purple, light violet rim.
Fresh aromas of ripe blackberries, wild strawberries, blueberries and wild cherries. Subtle secondary notes of blooming violets and delicate wild roses.
The fruity and floral impressions are accompanied by a powerful and elegant tannin structure in a long-lasting finish. Ripe blackberries, wild strawberries and wild cherries translate smoothly from the bouquet to the palate.
Kapistoni Budeshuri Saperavi
Variety: 100 % Budeshuri Saperavi
Very dark ruby red color. Heavily opaque. Dark pink rim.
It has dominating aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate, black cherry, ripe red plum with spicy notes of black pepper and wild rose petals.
Pronounced blackberry, black cherry and ripe red plums translate very exquisitely from the bouquet to the palate. Secondary notes of dark chocolate are present.
